[حجب] الحجاب: السِتْرُ. وحجاب الجوف: ما يحتجب بين الفؤاد وسائره. وحجَبه أي منعه عن الدخول. والاخوة يحجبون الام عن الثلث. والمحجوب: الضرير. وحاجب العين جمعه حواجب، وحاجب الأمير جمعه حُجَّاب. واستحجبه: ولاه الحجبة. وحواجب الشمس: نواحيها. وقوس حاجب هو حاجب بن زرارة التميمي . واحتجب الملك عن الناس. ومَلِكٌ مُحَجَّبٌ. والحَجَبَةُ، بالتحريك: رأس الوَرِكِ، وهما حَجَبَتانِ تُشرفان على الخاصرتين.
