بتخفيف ثانيه، والسين مهملة: من قرى مرو ويقال لها سر يكباره فعرّب فقيل جياسر، كذا في كتاب أبي سعد، منها أبو الخليل عبد السلام بن الخليل المروزي الجياسري، تابعيّ أدرك أنس بن مالك، روى عنه زيد بن الحباب.
