(جيى) - في حَدِيث عِيسَى عليه السلام: "أَنَّه مَرَّ بنَهرٍ جارٍ وجِيَّةٍ مُنْتِنَة"
الجِيَّة: مُجتَمع المَاءِ في هَبْطَةٍ، وأَصلُها الهَمزُ، وهي فِعْلَة بوَزن النِّيَّة. من باب جَاءَ، أُخذَت من مَجِيء الماءِ إليها والجَيَّة بوزن المَرَّة، ومعناها أَيضاً، من المَجِيءِ.
