(جَهَشَ) الْجِيمُ وَالْهَاءُ وَالشِّينُ أَصْلٌ وَاحِدٌ، وَهُوَ التَّهَيُّؤُ لِلْبُكَاءِ. يُقَالُ جَهَشَ يَجْهَشُ وَأَجْهَشَ يُجْهِشُ، إِذَا تَهَيَّأَ لِلْبُكَاءِ. قَالَ:
