(هـ) فِيهِ «إِنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ أسْلَم عدَا عَلَيْهِ ذِئب، فانْتَزَع شَاةً مِنْ غنَمه فجَهْجَأَه الرجُل» أَيْ زبَره: أَرَادَ جَهْجَهَه، فَأَبْدَلَ الْهَاءَ هَمْزَةً لِكَثْرَةِ الْهَاآتِ وقُرْب المَخْرَج.
وَفِي حَدِيثِ أَشْرَاطِ السَّاعَةِ «لَا تَذْهَبُ اللَّيَالي حَتَّى يَمْلك رَجُلٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ الجَهْجَاه» كَأَنَّهُ مُرَكَّب مِنْ هَذَا. ويُروَى الجَهْجَل

جَهْجَهَ بالسَّبُعِ: صاحَ ليَكُفَّهُ.
وجَهَّهُ: ردَّهُ قبيحاً.
والمُجَهْجَهُ، بفتح الجيمَيْنِ: الأسَدُ.
وجَهْجاهٌ الغِفارِيُّ: ممَّنْ خَرَجَ على عثمانَ، رضي الله تعالى عنه، كَسَرَ عَصَا النبيِّ، صلى الله عليه وسلم، بِرُكْبَتِهِ، فَوَقَعَتْ الأكِلَةُ فيها، ورَجُلٌ آخَرُ سَيَمْلِكُ الدنيا،
ويُرْوى جَهَهاً، مُحرَّكةً،
أو جَهْجاً، بِتَرْكِ الهاءِ، وكُلُّها في صَحيحِ مُسْلِمٍ، رحمه الله تعالى.
