جغن: جَغَانَة: اسم آلة من آلات الموسيقى (ابن خلكان 9: 39) وهي ضرب ن الصولجان أو العصي يربط ثلاث صناج إذا حركت أنشأت نغما موسيقيا (أنظر في المعاجم الفارسية: جَغان وجَغانة).
