الْجِيم وَالصَّاد وَالرَّاء

الصَّاروج: النورة باخلاطها، تطلى بهَا الْحِيَاض والحمامات، وَهُوَ بِالْفَارِسِيَّةِ: جاروف فأعرب فَقيل: صاروج. وَرُبمَا قيل: شاروق.

وصَرَّجها بِهِ: طلاها، وَرُبمَا قَالُوا: شرقه.
