أشجذت السَّمَاء: سكن مطرها، قَالَ امْرُؤ الْقَيْس يصف دِيمَة:

تُخرِجُ الوَدّ إِذا مَا أشجذتْ ... وتواريه إِذا مَا تشتكِرْ

الوَدّ: جبل مَعْرُوف، وتشتكر: يشْتَد مطرها.
