ج ز ع: (جَزَعَ) الْوَادِيَ قَطَعَهُ عَرْضًا وَبَابُهُ قَطَعَ، وَ (الْجَزْعُ) أَيْضًا الْخَرَزُ الْيَمَانِيُّ وَهُوَ الَّذِي فِيهِ بَيَاضٌ وَسَوَادٌ تُشَبَّهُ بِهِ الْأَعْيُنُ. وَ (الْجِزْعُ) بِالْكَسْرِ مُنْعَطَفُ الْوَادِي. وَ (الْجَزَعُ) ضِدُّ الصَّبْرِ وَبَابُهُ طَرِبَ وَقَدْ (جَزِعَ) مِنَ الشَّيْءِ وَ (أَجْزَعَهُ) غَيْرُهُ.
