ج ر ذ : الْجُرَذُ وِزَانُ عُمَرَ وَرُطَبٍ قَالَ ابْنُ الْأَنْبَارِيِّ وَالْأَزْهَرِيُّ هُوَ الذَّكَرُ مِنْ الْفَأْرِ وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ هُوَ الضَّخْمُ مِنْ الْفِئْرَانِ وَيَكُونُ فِي الْفَلَوَاتِ وَلَا يَأْلَفُ الْبُيُوتَ وَالْجَمْعُ الْجِرْذَانُ بِالْكَسْرِ مِثْلُ: صُرَدٍ وَصِرْدَانٍ وَبِالْجَمْعِ كُنِيَ نَوْعٌ مِنْ التَّمْرِ فَقِيلَ أُمُّ جِرْذَانٍ.
