تَل السُّلْطان:
موضع بينه وبين حلب مرحلة نحو دمشق، وفيه خان ومنزل للقوافل، وهو المعروف بالفنيدق، كانت به وقعة بين صلاح الدين يوسف ابن أيوب وسيف الدين غازي بن مودود بن زنكي صاحب الموصل سنة 571 في عاشر شوّال.
