التعدية: هي أن تجعل الفعل لفاعل يصير من كان فاعلًا له قبل التعدية منسوبًا إلى الفعل، كقولك: خرج زيد، وأخرجته، فمفعول أخرجت هو الذي صيرته خارجًا.

التعدية: نقل الحكم من الأصل إلى الفرع، بمعنى جالب الحكم.
