قد مرّ ذكرها في لفظ التأليف. والنسبة الحاصلة من التجزئة تسمّى بالنسبة المنقسمة.
وقد يعبّر عن التجزئة بإلقاء عن نسبة أخرى على ما في بعض حواشي تحرير أقليدس.
