اسم مركب من السابقة ب ورجاني من (ر ج ن) نسبة إلى الرَجَّان بمعنى كثير الإقامة بالمكان، وكثير حبس الدابة وإساءة علفها حتى تهزل، وكثير الحياء من غيره.
