بَرْكُسْتُوان: يجمع بالألف والتاء. ورد ذكرها في تاريخ المماليك (مملوك 201: 79 حيث ترجمها كاترمير بما معناه: جل مزركش، رخت (كوبان) (فريتاج مختار ص أ 10) ويقال أيضاً: بركستيان (الجريدة الآسيوية 1949، 2: 319، رقم 1، 10).
