(بظر) - في الحَدِيث: "يا بنَ مُقَطِّعَةِ البُظُور".
البَظْر : العُذْرَة. دعاه بذَلِك، لأَنَّ أُمَّه كانت خَتَّانَةً للنِّساء، وتُسَمَّى المُبَظِّرةَ أيضا.

(بَظَرَ) الْبَاءُ وَالظَّاءُ وَالرَّاءُ أَصْلٌ وَاحِدٌ لَا يُقَاسُ عَلَيْهِ. فَالْبُظَارَةُ اللُّحْمَةُ الْمُتَدَلِّيَةُ مِنْ ضَرْعِ الشَّاةِ، وَهِيَ الْحَلَمَةُ. وَالْبُظَارَةُ هَنَةٌ نَاتِئَةٌ مِنَ الشَّفَةِ الْعُلْيَا، لَا تَكُونُ بِكُلِّ أَحَدٍ. قَالَ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ لِشُرَيْحٍ فِي فُتْيَا: " مَا تَقُولُ أَنْتَ أَيُّهَا الْعَبْدُ الْأَبْظَرُ ". وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ.
