[بزا] بَزا عليه يَبْزو، أي تطاول. والبازى: واحد البزاة التى تصيد. والبزوان، بالتحريك: الوثب. وبزوان، بالتسكين: اسم رجل. وأخذت من بزو كذا، أي عدله ونحوه. والبَزاءُ: خروج الصدر ودُخول الظهر. يقال: رجلٌ أَبْزَى وامرأةٌ بَزْواءُ. وأَبْزى الرجل يُبْزي إبْزاءً، إذا رفع عجزَه. وتَبازى مثلُه. وأَبْزَى فلانٌ بفلان، إذا غلبه وقَهره. وهو مُبْزٍ بهذا الأمر، أي قويٌّ عليه ضابطٌ له.
