[برجس] ناقةٌ بِرْجيسٌ، أي غزيرةٌ. والبِرْجيسُ أيضاً: نجمٌ. قال الفراء: هو المشترى. حكاه عن الكلبى. والبرجاس: غرض في الهواء يُرْمى به. وأظنُّه مُوَلَّداً.
