[ب أر] البِئْرُ القَلِيبُ أُنْثَى والجَمْعُ أَبْآرٌ وآبارٌ مَقْلُوبٌ عن يَعْقُوبَ وأَبْؤُرٌ وبِئارٌ وهي البِئْرَة وحافِرُها الأَبّارُ مَقْلُوبٌ ولم يُسْمَعْ على وَجْهِه وبَأَرَها يَبْأَرُها وابْتَأَرَها حَفَرَها والبُؤْرَةُ كالزُّبْيَةِ من الأَرْضِ وقِيلَ هي مَوْقِدُ النارِ والفِعْلُ كالفِعْلِ وبَأَرَ الشَّيْءَ يَبْأَرُه بَأْرًا وابْتَأَرَه كلاهُما خَبَأَهُ والبُؤْرَةُ والبِئْرَةُ والبَئِيرَةُ ما خُبِّئَ وادُّخِرَ وابْتَأَرَ الخَبَرَ وبَأَرَه قَدَّمَه وقِيلَ عَمِلَه مَسْتُورًا
