الهَرابِذَةُ: قَوَمَةُ بيتِ النارِ لِلهِنْدِ، أو عُظَماءُ الهِنْدِ، أو عُلَمَاؤُهُم، أو خَدَمُ نارِ المَجوس، الواحدُ: كزِبْرِجٍ.
والهَرْبَذَةُ: سَيْرٌ دونَ الخَبَبِ.
والهِرْبِذَى: مِشْيَةٌ في اخْتيالٍ.
وعَدا الجَمَلُ الهِرْبِذَى: أي في شَقٍّ.
