الهَبَنْقَعُ والهَبَنْقَعَةُ المَزْهُوُّ الأحْمَقُ يُعْرَفُ حُمْقُه في جُلُوْسِه وأُمُوْرِه، والجَميعُ هَبَنْقُعُوْنَ وَهَبَنْقَعَاتٌ. وهو أيضاً الذي يُحِبُّ حَدِيْثَ النِّسَاء. والذي يَسْأَلُ النّاسَ وفي يَدِه عَصَاً.
والهَبَنْقَعَةُ: قُعُوْدُ الرَّجُلِ على عُرْقُوْبَيْه.
