الهَبَصُ، محركةً: النَّشاطُ، والعَجَلَةُ،
كالاهْتِباصِ، هَبصَ، كفرحَ،
فهو هَبِصٌ: نَشِطَ، وحَرَصَ على الصَّيْدِ،
وـ على الشيءِ يأكُلُه فَقَلِقَ لذلك.
والهَبَصَى، كجَمَزَى: مِشْيَةٌ سريعةٌ.
وانْهَبَصَ للضَّحِكِ،
واهْتَبَصَ: بالَغَ فيه.
