الندَّب: بالفتح مصدر ندب للأمر أو إلى الأمر إذا دعاه ورشَّحه للقيام به وحثَّه عليه، وهو عند الأصوليين والفقهاء: خطابٌ بطلب فعل غير كف ينتهض فعله فقط سبباً للثواب وذلك الفعل يسمَّى مندوباً ومستحباً وتطوعاً ونفلاً فعلى هذا المندوبُ (إليه) يعمُّ السنة أيضاً وقيل: هو الزائدُ على الفرض والواجبات والسنن.
Volunteers needed (having reasonably advanced knowledge of Arabic, and relatively good English): There are 20-40 dictionaries that can be added to The Arabic Lexicon once the digital versions are reviewed and any necessary corrections carried out (sometimes this can be done in a few hours).
