الملازمة: لغة: امتناع انفكاك شيء عن شيء. واللزوم والتلازم بمعناه واصطلاحا: كون الحكم مقتضيا لحكم آخر على معنى أن الحكم بحيث لو وقع يقتضي وقوع حكم آخر اقتضاء ضروريا، كالدخان للنار في النهار والنار للدخان في الليل.

الْمُلَازمَة: واللزوم والتلازم فِي اللُّغَة امْتنَاع انفكاك شَيْء عَن آخر وَفِي الِاصْطِلَاح كَون أَمر مقتضيا لآخر على معنى أَنه يكون بِحَيْثُ لَو وَقع يَقْتَضِي وُقُوع أَمر آخر كطلوع الشَّمْس للنهار وَالنَّهَار لطلوع الشَّمْس. وكالدخان للنار فِي اللَّيْل وَالنَّهَار وَالنَّار للدخان كَذَلِك. وَإِن كَانَ الدُّخان مرئيا فِي النَّهَار وَغير مرئي فِي اللَّيْل.
