المَكُّوك: طاسٌ يشرب به وفي "المحكم" طاس يشرب فيه أعلاه ضيقٌ ووسطه واسعٌ، مكيالً يسع صاعاً ونصفاً أو نصف رطل إلى ثمان أواقي أو نصف الويبة، والويبةُ: اثنان وعشرون أو أربعة وعشرون مُدّاً بمد النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - أو ثلاث كيلجات، والكيلجةُ: مناً وسبعة أثمان مناً، والمنُّ: رطلان، والرطلُ: اثنتا عشرة أُوقيّة، والأوقيّةُ: استارٌ وثُلُثا استار، والاستارُ: أربعة مثاقيل ونصف، والمثقالُ: درهم وثلاثة أسباع درهم، والدرهمُ: دوانق والدانقُ: قيراطان، والقيراطُ: طُّسوجان، والطسوجُ: حبّتان، والحبَّة: سُدُس ثُمُن درهم وهو جزء من ثمانية وأربعين جزءاً من درهم وجمعه المكاكيك كذا في الأقرب.
