بالفتح، والباء الموحدة مكسورة: هي أرض بحضرموت، قال أبو شمر الحضرمي:
عفا عن سليمى روضتا ذي المخابط ... إلى ذي العلاقي بين خبت خطائط
العلاقي: شجر وهي شجرة العلقى، والخطيطة:
أرض لم تمطر ومطر ما حولها.
