وأرضٌ كثيرةٌ الفَقْلِ: كثيرةُ الرَّيْعِ، وقد أفْقَلَتْ، وبالضم: سمكةٌ مسمومةٌ لا تُؤْكَلُ، قَدُّها كإِصْبَعٍ.
