الغَرِدُ:
بفتح أوله، وكسر ثانيه، وكل صائت طرب الصوت غرد: وهو جبل بين ضرية والربذة بشاطئ الجريب الأقصى لبني محارب وفزارة، وقيل:
من شاطئ ذي حسى بأطراف ذي ظلال.

الغَرْدُ:
قال نصر: بسكون الراء، ولم يزد في إيضاحه، قال: وهو بناء للمتوكل بسرّمن رأى في دجلة [1]- في البيت إقواء.
أنفق عليه ألف ألف درهم، ولم يصحّ لي أنا ضبطه وما أظنه إلا الفرد، والله أعلم.
