الغَبَن: هي الخديعة في البيع والشراء واليسيرُ منه ما يُقوِّم به مُقوِّم والفاحشُ منه ما لا يخل تحت تَقْويم المقوِّمين، وقيل: ما لا يتغابن الناس فيه.
