والعَدابَةُ: الرَّحِمُ، والرَّكَبُ.
والعَدُوبُ: الرملُ الكثيرُ.
والعُدَبِيُّ، كعُرَنِيٍّ: الكريمُ الأَخْلاقِ، أو مِنْ لا عَيْبَ فيه.
