بالكسر وفتح الياء التحتية: أخذ الفأل من الطّير، يعني من اسمه أو صوته أو خصوصيته، وهذا حرام. وإن اعتقد بذلك كفر. كذا في كشف اللغات. وقد سبق بيانها في لفظ الطّيرة.
