بالشين المعجمة لغة آخذ العشر من عشرت القوم عشرا بالضم في الموضعين أي أخذت منهم العشر. وشريعة من نصبه الإمام على الطريق لأخذ صدقة التجار وأمّنهم من اللصوص كما في الكرماني وغيره من المتداولات كذا في جامع الرموز.
