الظِّمَخُ، كعِنَبٍ: شَجَرَةٌ على صُورَةِ الدُّلْبِ، وشَجَرَةٌ التِّينِ في لُغَةِ طَيِّئٍ، الواحِدَةُ بهاء، أو بِسُكُونِ الميم، ككِسْرَةٍ وكِسَرٍ، وقد تُسَكَّنُ الميم في الجَمْعِ كَتِينَةٍ وتِينٍ.
