بلفظ واحدة الطين، بكسر أوله، وسكون ثانيه، ونون: بليدة بين الفرما وتنّيس من أرض مصر، ينسب إليها أبو الحسن علي بن منصور الطيني، روى عنه أبو مطر الإسكندراني، والله الموفّق للصواب.
