بالنون كحبيب لغة صوت الذباب. وفي العرف الطبي صوت سمعه الإنسان لا من خارج. والفرق بينه وبين الدّوي أنّ صوت الطّنين أحدّ وأدقّ والدّوي ألين وأعظم، كذا في بحر الجواهر.
