الغَلِيظَةُ من الحِرَارِ التي لا يَسْلُكُها أحَدٌ باللَّيْلِ. والضمْزَرُ: الصُلْبُ الشدِيدُ من الأرَضِيْنَ وغَيرِها، وجَمْعُها ضَمَازِرُ. وهي من النَسَاءِ: الغَلِيْظَةُ.
