الصَِّئِيُّ، مُثَلَّثَةً: صَوْتُ الفَرْخِ ونحوِهِ.
صأى، كَسَعَى صئِيًّا: صاحَ. وأصْأَيْتُه.
وجاءَ بما صأَى وصَمَتَ: بالمالِ الناطِقِ والصامِتِ.
والصَّآةُ والصاءَةُ: الماءُ يكونُ في المَشِيمةِ.
