الصّالح:
[فى الانكليزية] Convenient .appropriate
[ في الفرنسية] Convenable ،approprie عند المحدّثين حديث هو دون الحسن.
قال أبو داود وما كان في كتابي السنن من حديث فيه وهن شديد فقد بيّنته، وما لم أذكر فيه شيئا فهو صالح وبعضها أصلح من بعض انتهى. قال الحافظ ابن حجر لفظ صالح في كلامه أعمّ من أن يكون للاحتجاج أو للاعتبار، فما ارتقى إلى الصّحة ثم إلى الحسن فهو بالمعنى الأول، وما عداهما فهو بالمعنى الثاني، وما قصر عن ذلك فهو الذي فيه وهن شديد، كذا في الإرشاد الساري شرح صحيح البخاري.
