[في الانكليزية] Disk ،plate ،sheet
[ في الفرنسية] Plaque ،disque
كاللقيطة بحسب اللغة الفارسية كلّ شيء عريض منبسط، والمراد من ذلك في علم الأسطرلاب هو جسم يحيط به دائرتان متساويتان ومتوازيتان. ويصل بينهما بسطح بين محيطي الدائرتين. وتسمّى الصفحة التي كتب عليها أسماء الأقاليم السبعة الصفيحة الآفاقية. كذا ذكر عبد العلي البرجندي في شرح العشرين بابا.
