الصحيح لذاته من الحديث: هو ما يشتمل من صفات القبول على أعلاها بأن ينقله عدل تمام الضبط متصل السند غير معلل ولا شاذ. وتتفاوت رتبه بسبب تفاوت هذه الأوصاف في القوة فإن خف الضبط وتكثرت طرقه فهو الصحيح لغيره.
