السّحاب:
[في الانكليزية] Cloud ،melanosis
[ في الفرنسية] Nuage ،melanose

بالفتح وبالفارسية: أبر. ويطلق أيضا على قرحة أقلّ حجما من القتام. والقتام قشور شبيهة بالدخان منتشرة في سواد العين، كذا في بحر الجواهر. وفي الموجز: والسحاب قرحة على سواد العين أصغر وأشدّ عمقا وبياضا انتهى.
ويطلق أيضا على الرسوب الطافي. ويسمّى غماما أيضا.
