الرُّقية: هي العُوْذة أي التي تكتُب وتُعلق على الإنسان من العين والفزع وغيرهما، وأصلها الرقية بما فيه أعُوْذَ والجمعُ رُقى، والرُّقي قد يكون بقراءة شيء من القرآن والمعوذات والأدعيةِ المأثورة.
