الرضوان: بكسر الراء وتضم، اسم مبالغة في معنى الرضى، ذكره الحرالي. وقال الراغب: الرضى الكثير، ولما كان أعظم الرضى رضي الله خص الرضوان في القرآن بما كان منه تعالى.
