الدِّرْهم الشرعي: هو سبعون شعيرة قال السندي:
درهمٌ شرعيٌّ أزين مسكين شنو . .. كان سه ماشه هست يك سرخه دوجو

وفي "المغرب: الدرهم اسمٌ للمضروب المدور من الفضة كالدينار من الذهب جمعه الدراهم قال الكرخي: الدرهم أربعةَ عَشَرَ قيراطاَ وتكون العشرة وزن سبعة مثاقيل".
