والنَّعْتُ: أخْوثُ وخَوْثاءُ. وقد خَوِثَ، كفَرِحَ.
وخُوَيْثٌ، كزُبيرٍ: د بِديارِ بَكْرٍ.
والخَوْثاءُ: الحَدَثَةُ الناعِمةُ.
