الخزن: حفظ الشيء في الخزانة، ثم عبر به عن كل حفظ كحفظ السر. والخزن في اللحم الادخار ثم كني به عن نتنه. وخزائن الله عبارة عن مقدوراته لأنه خزن فيها أي جمع بين الجود والعفو، ذكره أبو البقاء.
