الحَصُور: هو الذي لا يأتي النساء إما من العنَّة وإما من العفَّة والاجتهاد في إزالة الشهوة، والثاني أظهر في الآية: {وَسَيِّدًا وَحَصُورًا} [آل عمران:39] لأن بذلك يستحق المحمدة قاله الراغب.
