بالضم وسكون الميم في اللغة بمعنى سرخى. وعند الأطباء هي الورم الحار الصفراوي المحض، فارسيها سرخ باد كذا في بحر الجواهر. وعند أهل الرمل اسم شكل من الأشكال الستّة عشر وصورته هكذا.
