الجِعْثِمُ، كزِبْرِجٍ: أُصولُ الصِّلِّيانِ.
والجُعْثُومُ: الغُرْمولُ الضَّخْمُ.
وجُعْثُمَةُ، بالضم: حَيٌّ من هُذَيلٍ، أو من أزْدِ السَّراةِ.
والجُعْثُمِيَّاتُ: القِسِيُّ.
والتَّجَعْثُمُ: انْقِباضُ الشيءِ، ودُخولُ بعضِه في بعض.
