الجِبْزُ، بالكسر: الكَزُّ الغليظُ، والبخيلُ، والضعيفُ، واللئيمُ.
والجَبِيزُ: الخُبْزُ الفَطيرُ، أو اليابِسُ القَفارُ، وقد جَبُزَ، كَكرُمَ.
وجَبَزَ لَه من مالِهِ جَبْزَةً: قَطَعَ له منه قِطْعَةً.
والجَأْبَزَةُ: الفِرارُ، والسَّعْيُ.
